General rules and evaluation criteria of knowledge of students which study in the specialty "medicine" on a practical content classes and in the final module control at the Department of Clinical Anatomy, anatomy and operative surgery DSMA

Approved at the methodological meeting of the department,

protocol No. 1 dated August 30, 2017.

CRITERIA FOR EVALUATION OF KNOWLEDGE ON PRACTICAL CLASSES

On a practical lesson, the teacher evaluates the students' progress (individual oral interview) on the traditional 4-point scale (5, 4, 3, 2). Theoretical questions and practical skills in the form of oral questioning - 5 specific, well-defined questions that need to be answered (1 correct answer - 1 point). Practical skills - to show anatomical structures on specimens, schemes, tables. Score "5" - 5 correct answers, "4" - 4 correct answers, "3" - 3 correct answers, "2" - 2 or lesser correct answers. Marks obtained in a practical class are not converted into points.

CRITERIA OF EVALUATION OF KNOWLEDGE ON CONTENT MODULE.

The examination on thematic modules passes with theoretical and practical questions (10 QUESTIONS) in the museum of the department. Theoretical questions - 6 specific, well-defined questions that need to be answered (each full answer is 1 point). Practical skills – to show on preparations, diagrams, tables 4 anatomical structures (1 correct answer - 1 point). Score: from 0 to 5 points - "unsatisfactory"; from 6 to 7 points - "satisfactory"; from 7 to 8 points - "good"; from 9 to 10 points - "excellent". These points are multiplied by the coefficient (x6, x5, x4) (look tab.).

EVALUATION CRITERIA OF SUMMARY PRACTICAL SKILLS EXAMINATION

(in the end of each module)

The control of practical skills is carried out in the form of oral questioning with 10 well-defined questions (1 correct answer - 1 point). Score: from 0 to 5 points - "unsatisfactory"; from 6 to 6.5 points - "satisfactorily"; from 7 to 8 points - "good"; from 9 to 10 points - "excellent". These points are multiplied by the coefficient (x3, x2, x1) (see tab.).

The repassing of practical skills is carried out 2 times over the last 2 weeks of the semester.

Score points for final practical skills (conversion of marks into points):

CRITERIA OF KNOWLEDGE EVALUATION AT THE EXAMINATION OF SUMMARY TEST CONTROL.

(test examination in the end of each module)

Upon reaching and exceeding the 75 percent level of correct answers for test control, there are 25 points. At a level less than 75%, - 0 points. At the end of the 1st semester, test control includes the topics of module 1; 2nd semester - modules 1 and 2; 3rd semester - modules 1, 2 and 3. The final test control is 1 time at the end of each semester. The enrollment of the points for the previous semesters for this control is possible as follows: for the first semester with successful completion of the tests at the end of the 2nd semester, for 1 and 2 semesters - at the end of the 3rd semester.

PROCEDURE AND CRITERIA FOR EVALUATION OF FINAL MODULE CONTROL.

Criteria for admission to the final module control.

Students who attended all practical classes and lectures, or worked out missed classes in the established order, and scored the minimum number of points are allowed to complete the final module control. The amount of points for admission (content modules + final practical skills + final test control + individual work) for each semester is not less than 51. Students who have arrears at the end of the semester, they may eliminate it only with the permission of the dean of the faculty.

1. The final module control is carried out during the last two weeks of the semester according to the schedule of the educational department of the DSMA.

2. The final module control consists of verification of theoretical knowledge (test tasks). The maximum number of points for the final module control is 80 points, the minimum is 50.

3. Students who answered less than 63% of the tests receive an "unsatisfactory" grade.

4. Reassembly of the final module control is possible 2 times.

5. The total number of points for a module consists of the sum of points: a) content modules; b) final practical skills at the end of the semester; c) final test control at the end of the semester; d) individual work; e) final module control.

The maximum amount of points per semester is: content modules - 0-60 points, practical skills - 0-30 points, test control - 0 or 25 points, individual work - 1-5 points. Together - up to 120 points.

CRITERIA FOR EVALUATION OF DISCIPLINE.

Converting a sum of points for a module to a traditional mark:

The total amount of points in a discipline is defined as the arithmetic average of the points obtained for all modules. Score from discipline is determined according to the table below and is displayed in the score book in terms defined by the learning process.

The maximum number of points in the discipline "Human Anatomy" is 200.

The number of points awarded to students for the discipline is converted to the ECTS scale as follows:

The percentage of students is determined for the students of this course, who have successfully completed the study of the discipline, within the corresponding specialty.

The number of points from the discipline, which is accrued to students, is converted into a 4-point scale in the following way:

The marks for discipline FX, F («2») may obtain students who do not pass at least one module from discipline upon completion of its study.

An FX score ("2") is awarded to students who scored the minimum number of points for the current educational activity, but which don’t pass the final module control. These students have the right to repeat the final module control. Repetition of the final module control is allowed not more than 2 times.

An F score («2») is awarded to students upon completion of studying a discipline that did not complete the curriculum of at least one module or visited all classes from the module, but did not score the minimum number of points for the current training activity and were not permitted to the final module control . These students have the right to study again the corresponding module. The decision is made by the leadership of the higher educational institution in accordance with the normative documents approved with the established procedure.
